About the event
The Kensington North Watershed Association works with landowners, business, and industry to improve watershed health in their area; you can learn more about them here. I'll be the guest speaker at their 2024 AGM, on the topic of PEI's natural history. I'll cover the formation of the Island's sandstone some 300 million years ago (and the plants and animals that lived here then), through the last Ice Age 12,500 years ago, and how the landscape that we know and love has evolved since glaciation. This is a free event, and no registration is required.
