About the event

Walrus and lynx and bears, oh my!  This illustrated talk will look at PEI's landscape before the arrival of Europeans, what animals roamed the Island at that time, and what plants would have been important to both Indigenous people and later settlers.  We'll also look at animals that have been introduced to PEI (and why that happened) as well as some of the useful plants settlers brought with them.  No matter how well you think you know Prince Edward Island, it's likely you'll learn something new from this presentation!  Cost: $28.75 per person (including tax).  Registration is now open at this link.
