Reading wildlife tracks and sign can open up a whole new world around you.Â
Winter can be the best time to learn and practice these skills, and I am pleased to offer my first-ever public workshop on how to do this.
Join me on Wednesday, January 11 at 7:00 PM at Carrefour de l'Isle-Saint-Jean (5 Acadian Drive, Charlottetown) for an illustrated talk. I'll cover the basics of track identification, how to narrow down what you are looking at, and how to positively identify tracks from PEI's mammals as well as a few birds. I'll also include gait and scat identification, as well as other sign such as feeding, denning, and territorial marking. If you enjoy wildlife and the outdoors, you won't want to miss this talk!
The cost is $28.75 (including tax), and space is limited. You can reserve your seat now via the link found here.
