About the event
PEI has hundreds of edible, medicinal, and toxic plants. This illustrated presentation will explore 45 species through all seasons, including how to find, identify, and use them. From popular wild foods such as Fiddleheads and Serviceberries to lesser-known (but delicious) things such as Alder Pepper and Evening Primrose root, and medicinals such as Yarrow and Ghost Pipe, this presentation packs a lot into an hour!
Wondering about that plant in your yard or neighbourhood? Bring it or a photo in for me to ID!
One lucky person will win the door prize: a copy of my new book Wild Foods of Prince Edward Island.
This event is free for Miltonvale Park residents and by donation for others. To register or for more information, email MiltonMVPs@gmail.com
