Edible and Medicinal Plants - illustrated talk

This hour-long, illustrated presentation will explore some of PEI's edible, medicinal, and toxic plant species - with a few mushrooms thrown in for good measure!  I'll explore species native to the Island that would have been used by our early Indigenous and Acadian people, as well as plants brought by later European setlers.  Some of these plants will be familiar to you and some you may not have known were present on the Island.  I'm betting everyone will leave this session having learned something new!
