Fall Foraging Workshop

We'll walk through old fields, young forest and along a stream while learning to identify a range of edible and medicinal plants (and maybe a few mushrooms!). I encourage people to use ALL their senses in plant identification, so we'll touch, smell, and even taste a few. Once you start seeing the wild foods that are all around us, you'll never look at the landscape the same way again!

This site is hilly terrain with some trees down from the 2022 hurricane, so wear appropriate footwear. The event goes rain or shine (within reason).

This event is part of the River Clyde Arts' 2025 Sharing the Field Festival. Registration is now open and pre-registration is required.
