About the event
What could be more fun than learning to identify some of PEI's edible and medicinal plants? Having a herd of friendly goats long to taste-test! I'm teaming up with the very popular Beach Goats (https://beachgoats.ca/) to offer a hand-on (hoofs-on?) plant identification workshop.
Not only will you learn how to find a recognize some of the Island's common edible and medicinal species, but you can pick Wild Apples to take home to make crisp, pie, applesauce, or whatever treat you desire. If you don't want to collect Apples, don't worry - the goats will take them off your hands!
This site is flat terrain and easy walking. The event goes rain or shine (within reason!) and registration is via email to beachgoats@yahoo.com
