About the event
We'll walk through old fields, young forest, and along a stream while learning how to identify a range of edible and medicinal plants. I encourage people to use ALL their senses in plant identification, and so we'll touch, smell, and even taste a few. Once you start seeing the wild foods that are all around us, you'll never look at the landscape the same way again!
This site is hilly terrain with some trees down from the 2022 hurricane so wear appropriate footwear. The event goes rain or shine (within reason) and is limited to 18 people to ensure a quality experience.
