About the event

Edible & Medicinal Plant Walk

We'll walk along one of the best Trout and Salmon rivers in eastern North America while identifying a range of edible, medicinal, and toxic plants (and maybe a few fungi!). I encourage people to use ALL their senses in plant identification, and so we'll touch, smell, and even taste a few.

The workshop goes rain or shine (within reason) and is limited to 20 people to ensure a quality experience. This event is free and part of the Up West Forest Fest; registration is required, and will open after Labour Day via the festival website, upwestforestfest.ca
