The PEI Woodlot Owners Association is proud to host our inaugural Women in Forestry full-day seminar celebrating the knowledge, leadership, and real-world experiences of women across the forestry sector.
Keynote Speakers
Mary Jane Rodger-MFC, RPF — Executive Director, Medway Community Forest Co-operative (Nova Scotia)-Mary Jane has been involved in many aspects of Nova Scotia’s transition toward ecological forestry, including contributing to the Lahey Forest Practices Review and serving on the Department of Natural Resources’ initial Minister’s Advisory Committee.
Kate MacQuarrie-Director, Forests, Fish & Wildlife — PEI Environment, Energy & Climate Action-Kate MacQuarrie (MSc) is an award-winning biologist, naturalist, and author based in Prince Edward Island.
